Your first ten minutes with the BotNotice app
You installed the app in your CRM. Here is what to do next, in order. Nothing on this page needs a developer.
1. Connect the sub-account
Install the app on the sub-account whose website you want to cover and approve the permissions. You land in your BotNotice dashboard on a page that asks which of your websites this sub-account belongs to. Choose it. The connection is live from that moment.
2. Add the website notice
- In BotNotice, open the site and copy the one-line snippet.
- In your CRM, go to Sites, open each website or funnel where a chat appears, then Settings → Tracking Code.
- Paste the snippet into Footer Code. Save, then republish the site or funnel.
- Open the site in a private browser window and open the chat. The notice appears beside it.
3. Put the disclosure in your voice agent's greeting
- In BotNotice, open the site's Voice page and copy the disclosure line. It is written for your business and where your callers are.
- In your CRM, open the Voice AI agent and paste the line at the very start of the welcome message, before the agent asks anything. Or, on the same Voice page in BotNotice, click Show agents and then Use your line, and BotNotice writes it into the agent for you.
- Do the same for any second agent a call can be transferred to.
4. Add the two workflow steps
- Record AI call consent. Put it after a Form Submitted trigger, on any form that has an AI-call consent checkbox. Paste the checkbox wording into the step once; every submission is stored with it.
- Check AI call consent. Put it right before any Voice AI call step. Send the allowed branch to the call and the blocked branch to a tag or a task. Do Not Disturb always blocks.
Each contact gets an AI call consent field that reads yes, no, revoked, informational only, or blocked: Do Not Disturb. A text that says only STOP sets it to revoked on its own.
5. Test it
- Submit your form with your own number, then run the workflow on your contact. The consent field should read yes and the call should go through.
- Text STOP to your number and run the workflow again. It should take the blocked branch.
- Call your agent and listen: the disclosure plays first.
6. Check the receipt
After a test call, open the site's Voice page in BotNotice. Under Recent calls, the receipt shows the time, the agent, the call id and whether the disclosure was delivered, partially delivered or missing. BotNotice reads only the AI's opening words and keeps the matched phrase; it never stores recordings or transcripts.
7. Leave it running
From here on, every notice, every consent and every call goes into a record kept seven years, with a hash chain so nothing can be quietly changed. If an agent's greeting changes so it no longer discloses, BotNotice logs it and emails you once.
To take it out again
Uninstall the app in your CRM (the consent check then answers blocked), remove the snippet from your sites, and cancel the plan under Manage plan in BotNotice. Uninstalling does not cancel the plan on its own. Records already kept stay available to view and download.
