What does the free scan check?
It looks at your website for signs of AI use and for an existing AI disclosure, then asks you a few questions the page can’t answer. You get observations, recommended next steps, and anything that needs a closer look.
Does BotNotice replace my existing chatbot?
No. BotNotice adds a disclosure to the chatbot you already run. It does not provide the conversation and does not change how your assistant answers.
What happens after the scan?
You see your assessment and a suggested level of help. From there you can sign up for a plan online, or leave it and come back. Nothing is charged and no one has to call you.
What is included in disclosure recordkeeping?
Disclosure evidence tracking, timestamped disclosure records, secure record storage, and access to your disclosure history. Records are kept for 7 years, copied to separate storage every night, and you can download them at any time. They document the disclosure. They are not chatbot transcripts.
Which plan includes ongoing monitoring and updates?
Managed Compliance, at $199 per website, per month. It adds monitoring of applicable AI disclosure laws, a monthly website review, disclosure updates as requirements change, and managed support from BotNotice.
Can I sign up without speaking to a salesperson?
Yes. Every plan can be purchased online. The free scan is optional. If you already know which level you want, go straight to pricing.
Does BotNotice provide legal advice or guarantee compliance?
No. BotNotice provides disclosure tools, supporting records, and support so you can show the steps you took. It does not provide legal advice and does not determine whether your business meets a particular legal requirement.
How do billing and cancellation work?
Plans are billed monthly, per website, at the price shown on the card you choose. Cancel any time from your billing page, and your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for. Our Terms cover the details.
What counts as a website?
One domain, like yourbusiness.com, with every page on it included. www.yourbusiness.com and shop.yourbusiness.com count as the same website. A second domain, like yourotherbusiness.com, is a second website.
We’re a franchise. How do we count our offices?
Most franchise brands keep every office on one website, like yourbrand.com/az/mesa, with chat added once for the whole site. That’s one website, and each office after the first is an extra location. Extra locations cost less because they share a website that’s already set up.
What if my website is very busy?
Each time your AI disclosure appears for a visitor counts as one notice. Every plan covers up to 25,000 a month per website (100,000 on Managed Compliance), plus 5,000 for each extra location, which is more than most businesses use. If a website stays over for two months in a row, we’ll email you with a price that fits, at least 30 days before anything changes. Your notice keeps working the whole time.
