1. What BotNotice is

J&B Partner Solutions, Inc. ("J&B," "we," "us") provides the BotNotice™ service, software that displays AI-disclosure notices on websites, records when those notices are displayed, generates disclosure documents, and summarizes laws. We are not a law firm, and the BotNotice service does not provide legal advice. Summaries, assessments, scores, generated documents and reports are informational tools based on publicly available sources and your own inputs. You are responsible for your compliance and should consult a qualified attorney about your specific situation.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your sign-in links private. You may install the widget only on sites you control. Each website's snippet is for that website and its subdomains. If we find it on another website, we'll tell you, and 14 days later it stops working there unless you add that website to your account. You may not use the service to deceive consumers, to disable or falsify disclosures, or to probe or overload our systems.

3. Plans, billing and cancellation

Plans are billed in advance, monthly, through Stripe, at the price shown when you sign up. Prices are per website, and each plan covers up to 25,000 AI notices a month per website (100,000 on Managed Compliance). If a website regularly shows more, we may offer you a price that fits, with at least 30 days' notice by email; the notice keeps working in the meantime. Plans bought before September 2026 on a yearly cycle renew yearly until you change them. When you move to a higher plan, the difference for the rest of the billing month is charged right away and the new plan starts once that payment succeeds; when you move to a lower plan, the unused part of the month is credited toward your next bill. New accounts may start Disclosure + Records with a 14-day free trial: a payment card is required, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs nothing. One trial per account. If you install the BotNotice app from your CRM's app marketplace and choose a plan there, the marketplace bills you for it under its own terms, and your BotNotice plan follows that purchase: it starts when the app is installed and ends when the app is uninstalled or the marketplace subscription ends. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email.

Managed Compliance adds a monthly review of your website, monitoring of the AI disclosure laws that apply to the places you tell us you serve, and updates to your disclosure settings made by us. It is a support service. It is not legal advice, and it does not guarantee that your business meets any law.

4. Data and logs

Chatbot Disclosure shows the notice but keeps no record of each display. On plans with records, disclosure logs are retained for the period stated in your plan (7 years on Disclosure + Records and Managed Compliance) and then deleted. If you cancel or move to a plan without records, the records already kept stay available to view and download for the rest of that period; no new records are added. We store hashed, non-reversible visitor identifiers and never store visitor IP addresses or names. If you delete a site, its logs are deleted immediately.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the widget, the law database and the service at any time. Law summaries may lag legislative changes; effective dates and penalties can change.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for fines, penalties, damages or legal costs arising from your use of AI or from any law.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Johnson County, Kansas.
